NEW YORK & LONDON (November 9, 2018) – Avature is pleased to announce that Ana Laura Darino, Avature Chief Financial Officer, has been named one of 2018’s Top Women Leaders in SaaS by The SaaS Report. Darino was selected from a pool of more than 3,500 nominations.

Darino leads financial operations for Avature, a global SaaS provider whose customers include more than 100 Fortune 500 companies. During the past 12 years, Darino has guided Avature through financial and regulatory challenges as the company has expanded rapidly across the U.S., Europe, and Asia. She has fulfilled countless customer requests, managed Avature’s financial processes, and built a strong global team of financial professionals.

Darino has overseen five years of positive cash flow and company growth in the high double digits. Utilizing the Avature CRM platform, she developed customer-oriented data tracking methods to gather improved financial metrics that feed analysis. “As the growth of our organization is exponential, this is no small task as our purchasing needs are getting bigger and more sophisticated by the minute,” Darino said.
Colleagues close to Darino describe her as a role model for her notable career achievements, both within Avature and beyond.

Prior to joining Avature in 2006, Darino served as the Grants & Accounting Manager for PM International, a U.S.-based NGO that provides micro-financial banking services in Latin America and the Caribbean. She supervised financial audits, accounts payable and receivable, and requests for funds, among other financial analysis and reporting roles. Previously, she worked as an Accountant Executive Assistant at CMA. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Buenos Aires.
Darino has also volunteered with Centro Entérate, coordinating 50 volunteers in Latin American consulates in New York City to help Latino immigrants access social services.
